If you are traveling from overseas to Australia and wish to use a vehicle for your daily commute, then there’s a couple of things to keep in mind starting with it is right-hand side driving on the left side of the road.

As you may know, Australia is not just a country but a continent in itself, and the distance between cities is considerably much greater than in some countries. So, if you are planning to drive between cities, regions, or even states, then it is always advised to travel with more than one capable driver on board so that you can switch when needed. As the cities are spread out the next important thing to keep in mind is your fuel levels. Plan and use maps to find out where you can refuel to prevent any discomfort caused by your mode of transport coming to a halt in the middle of the journey.

Here in Australia, we have beautiful cities placed alongside the coastline and each with a different set of rules in more than one aspect. So, once again it is advised to be knowledgeable about these relatively strict rules and restrictions. For example, there are height limits to your vehicle in some regions, and there are different road rules facilitating different environments of this country.

On top of that, we have a vast diversity of unique animals that are native to Australia. And you must take into account that these animals such as kangaroos or moose tend to cross through roads and highways. So, beware of such areas for both your safety and the safety of our wildlife.

We also counsel you to prebook well ahead before flying into Australia and well before the holiday seasons. If you are flying in and require a vehicle, we can arrange a drop off of a vehicle of your choice at the airport.

It gets especially busy during holiday seasons and most good vehicles in our fleet go out on rent. So, it is always best to book in advance and reserve your choice of a vehicle to the set desired date.

In order to prebook a vehicle to take on rent, you must have a full license that is valid and must provide original document upon arrival. Incase it is not in English then you must have an international license as we do not accept non-English licenses.

As per booking charges, we take a bond of $500 if paid by cash or through a debit card, and $250 is paid through a credit card on top of the rental fee. Bond will be refunded upon return as per contract conditions.

You can also add excess reduction insurance, child seats, seat covers, GPS units etc. at an additional cost.

You must also bear in mind that in case of an accident we charge and insurance excess and any fine such as parking, speeding fines or even toll fees that are charged during your rental period will be directed to you along with a nomination fee of $5. Our vehicles are rented on day basis (24 Hours) with a mileage limit varying between commercial and passenger vehicles and we request the vehicle to be driven on sealed roads to prevent unnecessary damages to the vehicle.

In conclusion, driving in Australia is an experience to cherish with picturesque places to visit. And whether it be short term or long term, we can provide you with a mode of transport with ease to facilitate your journey.
